ACCOUNT OPENING

Trust & disclosures

Open the Account Under the Right Agreement.

The advisory path and the futures path reach different TradeStation accounts under different documents. The Golden Capital Partners relationship is established first; the account is opened to hold what it covers.

Nothing is opened from a web page.

This page explains the sequence and points to the right destination. It does not open an account, transmit an application, verify identity, determine eligibility or create an advisory, program or brokerage relationship.

The application itself is TradeStation's. It is submitted to TradeStation, reviewed by TradeStation, and approved or declined by TradeStation under TradeStation's own agreements and disclosures. Golden Capital Partners' part is the advisory relationship the account will serve.

The advisory path, in order.

  1. State what the capital is for. Strategic Intake routes the inquiry to the advisory desk.
  2. Review the current Form ADV Part 2A and Part 2B and the advisory agreement.
  3. Complete any separate determination the mandate requires, including a Qualified Client determination where performance-based work is contemplated.
  4. Execute the advisory agreement with Golden Capital Partners.
  5. Open the TradeStation account in the correct legal name and grant the authority the agreement describes.
  6. Fund the account through TradeStation's own funding instructions.

Steps one through four are Golden Capital Partners. Steps five and six are TradeStation. The order matters, because the agreement is what defines the account's purpose and the limits on the authority granted within it.

The futures path, in order.

  1. Request the program materials. Strategic Intake routes the inquiry to the commodity desk.
  2. Complete the Qualified Eligible Person review where the program requires it. This is a separate review from any Qualified Client determination on the advisory side, and neither one substitutes for the other.
  3. Review the program disclosure documents, the advisory agreement for the program and the applicable risk disclosures.
  4. Execute the program documents and any trading authorization.
  5. Open the TradeStation futures account. A futures account is approved separately from a securities account and asks its own questions.
  6. Fund the account through TradeStation and confirm the margin terms that will apply to it.

Futures trading involves substantial risk, including loss beyond the amount deposited. An eligibility review is a condition of access. It is not a measure of that risk and does not reduce it.

Which account type applies.

The account type follows the legal owner of the assets. An individual or joint account is opened by the people who own it. A retirement account is opened under the plan that holds it. An entity account is opened by the trust, corporation, partnership, limited liability company or sole proprietorship that owns the assets, and asks for the documents proving the entity exists and that the signer is authorized to bind it.

Strategy does not decide account type. A tactical mandate inside a trust is still a trust account, and a hedging program run for an operating company is still an entity account. Establishing the correct owner first avoids opening an account that then has to be papered again.

What the application asks.

A brokerage application establishes who you are and what the account is: legal name and address, tax identification, employment, the identity and authority of anyone signing for an entity, and the information the broker needs to meet its own customer identification obligations.

A futures account adds questions about experience, financial resources and risk capacity, because a futures position can lose more than the amount deposited to hold it and the account is approved on that basis. Margin privileges are a further request within an account, on their own terms.

None of this reaches Golden Capital Partners through the application. The account application is between the applicant and TradeStation.

The account-opening destination.

The opening link below reaches TradeStation's own account application, served by TradeStation. Confirm that the page you land on is TradeStation's before entering anything into it.

Never send account numbers, passwords, identity documents or tax identifiers to Golden Capital Partners by email or through the inquiry form. Identity information belongs in the broker's own application or in an approved secure process, and nowhere else.

If the account already exists.

An existing TradeStation account is reached through TradeStation's own sign-in, and a password is recovered there. Golden Capital Partners cannot access, unlock or recover a brokerage login and will never ask for one.

A question about an existing Golden Capital Partners relationship — a service change, a document, a controlled material — goes through account access, which identifies the relationship or document needed without any credential.

Account-opening assistance.

Call 833-B1LL1ON — 833-215-5166 — or write to info@goldencapitalpartners.com.

Strategic Intake takes a written inquiry and routes it: an RIA or advisory account, a CTA or futures account, an existing relationship needing continuity, or a Form ADV Part 2A/2B or agreement request. A submitted inquiry begins a conversation. It does not open an account, determine eligibility, establish Qualified Client or Qualified Eligible Person status, or create an agreement.

The boundary.

Golden Capital Partners uses TradeStation as account infrastructure and describes no other relationship. No partnership, official designation, exclusivity or preferred status is claimed or implied, and neither firm endorses the other.

Account approval, account terms, margin, commissions, platform charges, protections and service are TradeStation's, stated in TradeStation's own documents. Advisory scope, fees and authority are Golden Capital Partners', stated in the current Form ADV and the executed agreement. Where a description on this page and an executed document differ, the executed document controls.
