ACCOUNT INFRASTRUCTURE

Firm

Advice Is One Firm. The Account Is Another.

Golden Capital Partners is the adviser. TradeStation is the brokerage, custodial and futures account infrastructure that applicable client accounts are held in.

See the account paths

Two firms. Two jobs.

Golden Capital Partners provides the advisory relationship: the mandate, the portfolio or program decisions, the disclosures and the agreement that governs the work. TradeStation provides the account — the brokerage and custodial infrastructure an advisory account is held in, and the futures brokerage infrastructure a futures account is carried in.

Neither firm does the other's job. TradeStation does not provide Golden Capital Partners' advice. Golden Capital Partners does not hold client funds or securities, carry futures positions, clear trades or issue account statements. The assets sit with the broker. The advisory relationship sits with the adviser, under its own agreement.

That separation is ordinary and it is deliberate. Each relationship is documented on its own terms, each firm answers for its own conduct, and each one can be checked against its own regulatory record.

Advisory accounts: the adviser directs, the broker holds.

Where Golden Capital Partners manages an advisory account at TradeStation, the account belongs to the client and is opened in the client's own name, or in the name of the entity or retirement plan that owns the assets. TradeStation holds the assets and produces the confirmations and statements. Golden Capital Partners is granted the authority the advisory agreement describes, and nothing beyond it.

TradeStation's published account types include individual and joint accounts, retirement accounts and entity accounts for trusts, corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and sole proprietorships. Which one applies follows from who legally owns the assets, not from the strategy being run inside the account.

TradeStation Institutional publishes registered investment advisers among the professional client types it serves, alongside family offices, hedge funds and other regulated entities. That is a statement about the broker's own business, not a statement about Golden Capital Partners. The advisory relationship, the fee and the scope of authority are established in the Golden Capital Partners advisory agreement and the current Form ADV Part 2A and Part 2B.

Futures accounts: the trading advisor is not the carrying broker.

A futures account has a structure a securities account does not. The account is carried by a Futures Commission Merchant — the firm that accepts customer funds, holds them in segregated customer accounts, faces the clearing house and issues the margin call. The firm that advises the account, or that introduces it to the carrying broker, is a different firm holding a different registration.

Golden Capital Partners works the advisory and introducing side: the program, the decisions taken under a written authorization, the disclosures and the eligibility review. TradeStation is the futures brokerage and the carrying broker. Customer funds and positions sit there, margin is posted there, and the daily statement comes from there.

Commodity Trading Advisor, Introducing Broker and Futures Commission Merchant are separate registration categories under the commodity rules, and a firm holds whichever ones its current record shows. Golden Capital Partners' registrations are on the National Futures Association's BASIC record. TradeStation's are on its own. Neither is a matter of description; both are a matter of record, and both should be read there.

Qualified Client and QEP are different tests.

Performance-based advisory work under the Golden Capital Partners RIA requires a Qualified Client determination under the applicable rule and firm policy. Participation in a Golden Capital Partners commodity trading program requires a separate Qualified Eligible Person review under the commodity rules. Different regimes, different tests, different documents, different consequences.

Meeting one says nothing about the other. Opening a TradeStation account says nothing about either: the account application is the broker's own process and determines no advisory eligibility, no program eligibility, no suitability and no acceptance of an engagement by Golden Capital Partners.

The requirement has two layers.

For a futures account the number that matters is not one number. The clearing house sets what the exchange requires. The carrying broker sets what the customer is held to, at or above that, and sets a separate requirement for a position opened and closed inside the same session.

The Margin Terminal shows those layers beside each other rather than blended, with the venue, the clearing house, the source and the age of each reading stated next to the figure. The TradeStation futures margin page sets out what the broker's own table publishes, how its intraday rate works, and why day margin is not a fixed fraction of the overnight requirement.

The documents come before the account.

An advisory relationship begins with the current Form ADV Part 2A and Part 2B, the advisory agreement and any applicable performance-based documents. The TradeStation account is then opened to hold the assets that relationship will manage.

A futures program relationship begins with the program materials, the eligibility review, the disclosure documents and the trading authorization. The TradeStation futures account is then opened to carry the positions it covers.

The two sequences are separate and their documents are not interchangeable. Client Documents and Account Opening holds the current versions and the request path for the controlled ones.

What this is, and what it is not.

Golden Capital Partners uses TradeStation as account infrastructure. That is an operating arrangement. It is not a partnership, an endorsement, a joint venture or a recommendation of the broker, and neither firm speaks for the other.

TradeStation approves, opens and maintains its own accounts under its own agreements and disclosures, and can decline an application. Golden Capital Partners does not hold client funds or securities, carry positions, clear trades, extend margin or guarantee any obligation of the broker. Account protections, margin terms, commissions, platform charges and service levels are TradeStation's and are stated in TradeStation's own documents.

Registration is a regulatory status, not an endorsement or a guarantee of performance. Verify each firm on its own record: investment-adviser registration through Investment Adviser Public Disclosure, commodity registration and membership through NFA BASIC, and securities registration history through FINRA BrokerCheck.

Reaching a person.

Account questions are answered by people, not by a form. Call 833-B1LL1ON — 833-215-5166 — or write to info@goldencapitalpartners.com.

Strategic Intake routes a written inquiry to the correct desk. The categories that apply here are an RIA or advisory account, a CTA or futures account, an existing relationship needing account continuity, and a Form ADV Part 2A/2B or agreement request. An inquiry begins a conversation. It opens no account and establishes no eligibility.
