A weekly cash decision worksheet
Synthetic educational example — not client data or performance. All prices, quantities and collateral figures are hypothetical. This is not an investment recommendation, company forecast, real exchange specification or proposed remedy.
business cash shortfall and debt pressure. The existing public turnaround page calls for a 13-week forecast while its linked runway engine has thirteen monthly periods. A weekly worksheet therefore fills a specific gap without replacing that calculator.
Method and assumptions
closing cash = opening cash + receipts + financing − operating outflows − debt service. Next week's opening equals prior week's closing. No automatic financing plug. Flag shortfalls; do not hide negative cash. Clearly label weeks as calendar intervals chosen by the user.
opening 100; receipts 80; operating outflows 105; debt service 10; financing 0; closing 65. With an illustrative minimum cash floor of 75, the gap is 10. A delayed receipt of 20 moves closing cash to 45 and the gap to 30. These are arithmetic assumptions, not a company forecast or a remedy recommendation.
Values below are USD thousands. W01–W13 are labels for calendar intervals chosen by the user. Financing remains an explicit input; there is no automatic financing plug. Blank worksheet cells mean unknown, not zero. Operating outflows are aggregated in the supplied example; payroll, suppliers, tax payments and other obligations must be distinguished when preparing an actual forecast.
